NewJeans Concerts Setlist

Debuted in 2022, formed by K-pop giant labels ADOR and HYBE Labels and considered to be one of the groups representing the K-pop genre nowadays, NewJeans is a girl group from South Korea that with less than 2 years since their debut, has already created a huge fan base all over the world with viral songs in TikTok and Instagram. The group brings an innovative fusion of alternative R&B, pop, and electronic, all within the realm of the K-pop genre.

The group members Minji (민지), Hanni (하니), Danielle (다니엘), Haerin (해린), and Hyein (혜인) started their journey when they released their first single "Attention," which quickly hit number one on South Korea's Circle Digital Chart. They soon followed up with two more singles, "Hype Boy" and "Cookie." "Hype Boy" made history by entering the Billboard Global 200 chart.

At the end of 2022, NewJeans released "Ditto," considered to be the single that guaranteed their spot on the global mainstream. "Ditto" also stayed at the top spot on the South Korean Circle Digital Chart for an impressive thirteen weeks, making it the longest-running number-one song on the chart.

The year 2023 was also a very important year for the girls of NewJeans, aside from doing huge partnerships with global brands like Mcdonald's, CocaCola, and others, they dropped "Zero," and in May, they released "Be Who You Are (Real Magic)," featuring Jon Batiste, J.I.D, and Camilo.

Later that year, the girls proved that their managers are real business people and are willing to bring NewJeans to a new spot. The group teamed up with Riot Games to release "Gods" as the theme song for the 2023 League of Legends World Championship.

With all these accomplishments, NewJeans was also the first K-pop girl group to perform at the famous music festival, Lollapalooza in the USA. NewJeans also performed at Japan's Summer Sonic Festival. This is not only a huge accomplishment for the group, but also very important for the K-pop genre. Even though other K-pop girl groups are elevating the genre spot, such as BLACKPINK, NewJeans is also responsible for making K-pop globally mainstream.

The girls from NewJeans are also considered to be icons and lead the rules for fashion in South Korea. NewJeans has a Y2K-inspired fashion style, which made them as a symbol of the Y2K revival in South Korea. Each NewJeans member are always wearing innovative outfits.
