Trendy Artists of the Week: Rammstein, Maroon 5, Dua Lipa, Morat, Rita Ora

And we're back with another hot, new, freshly picked batch of news from the music industry, featuring some of the most popular music stars on our website this week.

Rammstein

Rammstein Rocks Puskás Arena in Budapest

The legendary German metal band Rammstein just did two live shows at the Puskás Arena in the capital city of Budapest, Hungary. They were originally scheduled to do just one night, on July 11, a Tuesday. However, due to the high demand for tickets, they added a whole new show for July 12, Wednesday as well. Over 50,000 people gathered to see them play live on both nights.

The reviews also came out good for Till Lindemann and his crew, with the press not only being impressed with their musical performance, but also the pyrotechnics on stage as well. Next up for Rammstein is a concert on July 18, back on their home turf in Germany, in Berlin to be specific.

Original Maroon 5 Drummer Ryan Dusick Talks About Exit From Band

Ryan Dusick leaving the successful pop rock band Maroon 5 is not fresh news - it happened in 2006, after all. However, the drummer just gave an exclusive interview to the American tabloid People Magazine, talking about his recently published memoir titled “Harder to Breathe”.

In the interview, Dusick claims that he suspected that he’d be fired from the band, which had already achieved massive stardom with the release of their 2002 album “Songs About Jane”. An issue with his arms led to constant performance problems on the drums, which Adam Levine and band management eventually did not tolerate. At age 28, Dusick was kicked out of the band he co-founded when he was a teenager. This resulted in a troubled time for him, ultimately leading to substance abuse - however, thankfully, those days are over for Dusick by now.

Dua Lipa Rocks See-Through Dress To “Barbie” Premier

Dua Lipa

Earlier, we wrote about Ramstein rocking Budapest; this time, we use the word in another sense. Pop superstar Dua Lipa stunned everyone when she showed up to the premier for “Barbie”, a brand new movie she plays a small part in, in Los Angeles, California in a see-through fishnet dress (with apparently no bra, we might add). How appropriate is it to wear something like that to the first showing of a kids’ movie? We’re not sure, but seeing the end result, we don’t care as much either…

Morat Tours Spain

The country-pop band out of Colombia, Morat, has really expanded their reach far beyond their home country, what’s more, their home continent. There’s no better testament to that than their doing a total of nine live shows in one month in Spain this summer. Some of them have already passed, but you can still catch the remaining few, for example, in Alicante on July 18, Fuengirola on July 21, or Sanxenxo on July 23.

Rita Ora Drops New Single “That Girl”

Rita Ora just released her new album “You & I” a few days ago. This is one of the tracks, “That Girl”, from the brand you pop record.
